There are too many and so many inspiring stories of immigration to America. Stories of financial success, social success, philanthropic success and academic success. How do you define success? When you hear these stories, your definition of success might shift, mine did. The dream of each of these guests was the same: seek freedom in America. In an article written by Eugene Davis put it like this: " America, to millions, is still the place where the immigrant can seek that most elusive of goals—the street paved with gold. Out of the thousands of immigrants who arrive yearly, some find the gold; others die martyrs to the myth that just to reach these shores is the assurance of wealth beyond their dreams" That article was written in 1954...can you imagine? and the opportunity to make those dreams come true, is still the cornerstone of the effort it takes to come here and start a new life.You will hear from some of the wealthiest, humble people in the country. You will hear from some of the most successful academians, you will hear from the descendants of racing legends, musicians, philanthropists and so many more.
